Current mood: awake

13% of parents in america sleep with their infants… I think it is actually more then 13%, especailly with hmong families… If it is 13% then it’s not alot, but it’s still very dangerous because a sleeping parent could trap a baby and suffocate them in the bedding or in the space between the bed and the wall.

The practice of sharing a bed with your baby might also interfere with the development of healthy sleep habits. Studies have consistently found links between co-sleeping and waking frequently in the night. So if you sleep walk alot, it’s because your parents babied you too much… And I think that could lead into other problems…

What are you thoughts with co-sleeping? Is it a good idea? Do you or would you do it?
